How my journey began

Everyone’s story is different. Some are full of horrible decisions….some are full of life altering situations. Mine is full of ALL of it!

As a young girl, I was raised in a loving, Christian home. Some say it was sheltering. Now, as an adult, wife and Mom, I know that it was full of protecting. Did my parents do everything right? Of course not! No parent does. At a few points, they were just praying that God would keep me alive! I won’t go into my entire life story, that’s definitely for an entirely new book! lol! But I will say that I decided to go full-out rebellious and I completely turned my back on everything that I had been taught by the time I was 14.

At 17, I had run away from home twice, was heavily into alchol and gate-way drugs, had been chased cross country by police, lived on my own(badly,lol) and found out I was pregnant. Talk about living ‘free’ and showing God and my parents that I knew better than them!

When my Son turned two, the emptiness that I had in my life was incredibly overwhelming and I knew that there HAD to be something more! I gave my life to Jesus and I have NEVER looked back!

I was a single Mom for the first 5 years of my Son’s life and it was hard. My loving parents took me in shortly after I found out I was pregnant and they helped me every step of the way.

In this time, I became heavily involved in a local minitry called, “Passion4Purity”, and I was able to tell my testimony to 100’s of young girls and teens all over my community. You could say that this is when God birthed a passion inside of me to reach girls for Him!

To let them know that they’re worthy of love, special, unique and not forgotten!

I met my now husband in the fall of 2001 and married him in the spring of 2002! Although we absolutely loved being Mommy and Daddy to our Son, we knew that our family was missing people and we disparately prayed and cried out for more children for almost 8 years. Never did we ever think that God would take us down such a challenging and heartbreaking road! But He taught us So many things, including how to PRAY.

In this time, I taught junior High for 4 years and really loved being back with young people again. I wrote and produced a play, taught our church youth drama, sang on our worship team and really learned to live while waiting for God’s promises!

In the fall of 2009, we got the first positive test we had ever had and had our first daughter in the Summer of 2010!

We then went on to have 3 more children after that, bringing our grand total to five! When God rewards Faith, He loves to show off! lol!

When our second Son was still growing in my belly, I discovered a new passion in fitness and received my personal trainer certification in the fall of 2011. I went on to earn two more cirtifications and really knew that God had a plan for this in my life but still didn’t know to what extent.

After doing virtual coaching for a few years and writing my own workouts, God birthed in me the foundation idea for “Fierce Truth”!

And here I am!

We now have a mini farm, I home school our children, my husband owns/runs his 19 year business and we joyfully have our first grandbaby girl from our first born Son and his beautiful wife!

This is the nutshell of my story. There is SO much in between I will share as the Lord leads me. I’m so honored that God has chosen me for His project,”Fierce Truth”, and I know that this journey ahead will be my best yet!
